Meta description tag length increased to 320 characters by google
Until now the what is known as the meta description tag in HTML was the 160-character piece used to summarize a web page’s content. Search engines use these extracts in search results to let the visitors know what a page is about before you click on it. Just recently it was changed by Google to double that amount. With the new 320 allowed characters, a lot more will be able to be described when trying to attract more clicks. Think clickbate with this new feature. What else does this mean to your website?
